Marciel Whitehurst

Marciel is a social work educator and community leader whose career spans military, federal government, and college athletics grounded community leadership. Currently a Doctoral student at Howard University, I utilize cultural intelligence, relational connection, and best practices to develop people to be their best selves. My background also includes service as an adjunct instructor at colleges and universities, where i designed leadership and personal development courses for college athletes and facilitated career development workshops. My work reflects commitment to clarity, authenticity, and relevance. Additionally, I enjoy sport and event photographer where my work captures the emotion, movement, and meaning behind important moments. My photography centers Black families, student-athletes, and multigenerational celebrations, using visual storytelling to honor identity, achievement, and legacy. I have a 3-year old daughter who means the world to me. I look forward to supporting you and your family through coaching, mentorship, life skills development, and attending sporting events.
